The following Bible text contains 54 terms that may or may not be accepted by all religious faiths. See the glossary for additional explanations. Some terms are as follows: Holy Ones, starry hosts, Multitudes of Heaven, Morning Stars, Myriad’s, Hosts of Heaven, Heavenly Hosts, Messengers, Prince of the Host, Michael, Gabriel, Sons of God, Spirits, Nephilim or Giants.

GN 6:4 The (Nephilim) were on the earth in those days — and also afterward — when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them.

IS 34:4 All the (stars of the heavens) will be dissolved and the sky rolled up like a scroll; all the (starry host) will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree.

IS 40:26 Lift your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the (starry host) one by one, and calls them each by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.

DN 4:17     The decision is announced by (messengers), the (holy ones) declare the verdict, so that the living may know that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of men.

DN 4:23     You, O king, saw a (messenger, a holy one), coming down from heaven and saying, "Cut down the tree and destroy it, but leave the stump, bound with iron and bronze, in the grass of the field, while its roots remain in the ground."

DN 8:10     It grew until it reached the host of the heavens, and it threw some of the (starry host) down to the earth and trampled on them. 

DN 8:11    It set itself up to be as great as the (Prince of the host); it took away the daily sacrifice from him, and the place of his sanctuary was brought low.

DN 8:12     Because of rebellion, the (host) and the daily sacrifice were given over to it. It prospered in everything it did, and truth was thrown to the ground.

DN 8:13     Then I heard a (holy one) speaking, and another (holy one) said to him, "How long will it take for the vision to be fulfilled – the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that causes desolation, and the surrender of the sanctuary and of the (host) that will be trampled underfoot?"

DN 8:15     While I, Daniel, was watching the vision and trying to understand it, there before me stood one  (who looked like a man).

 DN 8:16     And I heard a (man’s) voice from the Ulai calling, "(Gabriel), tell this man the meaning of the vision."

DN 10:13     But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then (Michael), one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia.
