PRAYER TO  MICHAEL, the ARCHANGEL (BY POPE LEO XIII) Michael the Archangel, defend us in the day of battle be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.  May God rebuke him, we humbly pray and do thou,  Prince of the heavenly host by the power  of God  thrust down to hell Satan and all the wicked spirits, who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. PRAYER BEFORE A JOURNEY

Dear God, we pray that you will send your Angel, who will go before us, and keep us safe in this journey, and bring us to our destination, safe from all harm. We will take notice of your Angel, O God, and listen to his voice.

May the Angel Raphael, heavenly physician in care of our health, come down from heaven to cure all those who are sick.  Help us solve the difficult problems of life.  Be with us, O Archangel, the medicine of God, and through the power of God, drive away diseases of the mind, body and soul  (authors version)

O God, you chose the archangel Gabriel from among all other angels, to announce the mystery of Your Incarnation; grant in Your mercy that, we may feel the strength of Gabriel's protection in heaven.  You who are God, living and reigning.

TO OUR GUARDIAN ANGEL (By St.Gertrude)

O most holy Angel of God, appointed by Him to be my guardian, I give thee thanks for all the benefits which thou glorify thee that does condescend to assist me with such patient fidelity, and to defend me against all the assaults of my enemies.  Blessed be the hour in which you were assigned me for my guardian, my defender, and my patron.  In acknowledgement and return of all thy loving ministries to me, from my youth up, I offer thee the infinitely precious and noble Heart of Jesus, and firmly propose to obey thee henceforward and most faithfully to serve my God. AMEN.

Angel of God my guardian dear, conceived in God's love, who put you here.

All this day and through the night, help me in my spiritual fight.

Protect and guide, instruct give light, lead me to God's eternal site.
